This blog is a sketchbook for a nonfiction writing project I'm working on. I probably suck at it--I'm aware that there's a Doogy Howser feel to what I've written so far--but I'm hoping to get over the learning curve in the near future precisely by putting out stuff that sucks. (That way I get to un-suck myself.) Gosh. How lurid.
